Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing TEJ intelligence. Because we specialize in custom AI-based software, tools, and bespoke development, our services require significant resources, computational costs, and dedicated engineering hours.
By engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms regarding payments and refunds:
1. Deposit & project initiation
Advance payment: A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total project cost is required to secure your spot in our development pipeline and cover initial research and infrastructure setup.
Confirmation: Once the order is confirmed and the deposit is paid, this amount is strictly non-refundable, as work begins immediately.
2. Cancellation & mid-project refunds
Because our projects are priced according to specific project requirements, labor costs are incurred in real-time.
In the event of a project cancellation by the client after work has commenced, any payments made toward the remaining 60% balance (if any) are also non-refundable.
3. Post-delivery & final payment
Finality of sale: Once the software/tool has been delivered and the full payment has been settled, no refunds will be issued.
Major issues/bugs: We stand by our code. If a major technical failure occurs that is directly caused by our development team and prevents the software from functioning as outlined in the initial Scope of Work, we will prioritize fixing the issue at no additional cost.
Exclusions: Refunds will not be granted for:
- Change of mind or "pivot" in your business model.
- Third-party API changes (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Cloud) that are out of our control.
- Issues caused by client-side modifications to the code.
4. Dispute resolution
We value our partnership with you. If you feel there is a significant discrepancy between the delivered product and the agreed-upon project scope, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at admin@tejintelligence.com. We are committed to working with you to find a technical solution rather than a financial reversal.
